What you Need/Basic Qualifications:

  • Possess working knowledge of current material handling industry trends and of material handling equipment maintenance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral presentation and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products
  • Auto-CAD knowledge- ability to read, audit and approve blueprints.
  • Strong familiarity with county and municipal permitting
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be willing to travel within assigned territory.

Education and Certification Needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, but combination of education and work experience in the Material Handling Industry will be considered.
  • 2-5 years in material handling and equipment sales with a proven track record of growing sales volume
  • Some experience in basic financials including ROIs and proving profitability to customers.

What you’ll Do:

  • Participate in sales cycle teaming up with consultants to grow material handling storage product sales.
  • Create and design warehouse systems and racking solutions to optimize clients’ internal processes.
  • Work within assigned team and territory to create and review proposals, contracts, and new orders for accuracy and identifying and solving any issues.
  • Responsible for content, format, and timeliness of project correspondence and submittals, including drawings, letters, equipment and spare parts lists and purchase orders.
  • Read, audit, and approve blueprints for current projects.
  • Utilize creativity to generate new and original ideas; thinking outside of the box to design tailored solutions for customers.
  • Work closely with AutoCad team to produce accurate drawings.
  • Develop and maintain strong rapport with internal team and clients.
  • Be an ambassador and advocate for company values, mission, code of conduct and safety in all projects.
  • Will travel to customer sites for presentation of proposed warehouse systems and solutions and throughout installation process ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Project Manage installations of customer projects for the North Florida and Georgia markets.

Minor Responsibilities for Departmental Support:

  • Stay abreast of current material handling market trends focusing on warehouse systems and racking.
  • Provide timely reporting and contract related documents to management, vendors, and customers.
  • Assist in defining project implementation timelines.
  • Effectively communicate and present information across all communication settings with a focus on energy and enthusiasm
  • Develop estimates for projects, present these estimates to customers.
  • Utilize negotiating skills to close the deal with customers, clearly communicating goals and position.
  • Assist in generating leads and meet all sales goals given by developing sales strategies, techniques and tactics based on customer feedback and market environment.
  • Present and explain financial benefit of proposed systems by showing return of investment to customers.
  • Mon-Fri 7am-4pm
  • Hybrid- 3 days on customer sites, 2 days home/in office
