We’re now hiring for a Warehouse Associate at The Protein Specialists in Cleveland, OH.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an awesome company and supportive team! The primary function of this role is to receive and out away all incoming freight.

Pay: $16 an hour + up to $3/hour incentive

Typical day in the life as a Warehouse Associate:

• This requires using an electric powered jack while loading pallets of product into different locations in the warehouse. Scan guns are used to maintain inventory and location accuracy. You will be trained in using these guns. You will also be trained in how to be able to understand pick bin locations and how to properly rotate product.
• The receiving process requires that product be broken down onto other pallets so the receiver can easily count each item. Once received, product will need to be put away into its proper bin location and rotated to ensure the “first in first out” policy, or proper rotation of best by dates.
• The day shift is also responsible for helping customers who come to our facility to pick up product. This includes gathering products from bin locations and staging customer orders for pickup. Once a customer arrives, you will need to assist them by taking the product out to them and help them load into their vehicles.

What we are looking for:

• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clean background.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to maneuver an electric pallet jack throughout the warehouse.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
