Training includes sub-specialty in-service sessions, clinical skills and equipment training - beginning with visual field testing. Raleigh Ophthalmology is a 11-physician sub-specialty ophthalmology practice with 3 locations in Wake County. We can offer comprehensive exposure and training within the sub-specialties Ophthalmology.
Position Summary:- Accurately performs:
- Vision testing
- Lensometry
- Tonometry
- Visual Fields
- Muscle Testing
- Pupil Exams
- Special Testing (optic nerve photos, OCT)
- Dependable transportation required to travel to other offices as required
- Must be flexible with traveling to various locations and working some weekends.
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- The ability to seek instruction in areas where he/she is not knowledgeable
- The ability to recognize inconsistencies
- Graduation from an accredited high school
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in optometry.
- Good computer skills are required.
- Experience with EMR is a plus.
Willingness to travel:
- 50% (Preferred)
