The Opportunity:Roehl Transport, Inc., a privately owned truckload transportation company, is conducting a nationwide candidate search for a Vice President of Finance to lead the finance and accounting function. This executive-level position will:
- Oversee all sides of accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax preparation
- Manage and analyze the financial activities of the organization to maximize company's profits and strategize for its growth
- Manage and advise claims management, risk management, legal, and contracts.
- Work alongside our President and owner to advise, support, and challenge initiatives in leading the business
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
- At least 5 to 10 years in a lead or senior finance or accounting manager role
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field. MBA preferred.
- Strong communication skills with all levels of the business, as well as suppliers, customers, and stakeholders
- Expert ability to deliver key information and concepts to facilitate discussion, influence decision-making, and drive organizational innovation
- Prior experience in a transportation or logistics environment preferred
- Currently resides in or near Marshfield, WI, or open to relocation
