Looking for people who are looking forward to working with pets and the whole area of the veterinary ecosystem. Requirements:

• Must be 18+
• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to lift up to 30lbs without assistance
• Must be comfortable working around sick and/or injured animals
• Able to stoop, kneel, or crouch and stand for long periods of time
• Veterinary assistant experience of 1 year (Preferred)
• Front desk experience of 1 year (Preferred)

Experience:

• We are looking for full-time or part-time employees. With prior experience preferred, but we will train the right candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Cross-trained for front office duties such as answering phones, checking clients in and out, answering a multi-line phone system, maintaining medical records, creating appointments, et cetera.
• Assisting in exam rooms
• Gentle patient restraint
• Nail trims
• Pharmacy duties
• General housecleaning and maintenance (including but not limited to: vacuuming, mopping, wiping down exam rooms, cleaning kennels)
• Communication with the Veterinarian and other staff members
• Responding to the pressure of a fast-paced environment with professionalism
