We are seeking a full-time Events Manager & Marketing Generalist (m/f/d) to join our marketing team at Ververica. In this role, you will report to the Head of Marketing and work cross-functionally with our Growth and Product Management teams organizing tech events from small to large. You will also get to work as Marketing Generalist across various tasks and projects. We are a highly motivated software company originally from Berlin, Germany - now operating globally. We love open source but understand commercial needs as well. We are following an open-core business model looking for additional talents helping us achieve our goals and that of our parent company. We are not a start-up anymore, your employment is backed by one of the largest tech companies. Your Work ● Oversee and lead the Events Management area of Ververica (ie., meetups, Flink Forward, roadshow and training events) ● Collaborate with our Growth and Product Management teams to help uncover insights and strategies to promote new and existing products, internally and externally through tech events and other marketing activities ● Often multi-task and prioritize key tasks while maintaining an eye for detail ● Assist in development and implementation of the Ververica brand and its products and service across entire eco-system (from open source to commercial software audiences) ● Help identify opportunities within our established client base ensuring consistent growth ● Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools
