The Attribute Integration team leads the vehicle attribute development, compliance and validation and the vehicle engineering operations. The team focuses on the integration of the technologies and attributes for the iconic Lotus brand in cooperation with the Lotus Tech Research Institute organization in China.
The vehicle engineering operation team is responsible for the workshop and the smooth operation of the fleet of prototype vehicle. The team is a key resource to enable the company vehicle testing and tuning activities.
Responsibilities
- Be part of the Vehicle Engineering operation, based in the vehicle workshop.
- Lead prototype vehicle trouble-shooting activities: perform issues analysis on the vehicle, recommend and implement solutions in collaboration with the global architecture team.
- Collaborate with system and architecture engineers and technicians on projects and interface with the after-sales team as part of the field issue escalation process
- Establish performance and quality criteria to improve the quality of the test vehicles
- Evaluate engineering systems and processes.
- Manage, prepare and maintain testing equipment, including road map to support expansion of the team capabilities.
- Establish systems to ensure systematic and high-quality test results and activity logs.
- Ensure compliance with highest safety and quality standards
- Work within the company product creation process and conform to milestone planning and execution.
Requirements
- Electrical or Mechatronic engineering degree or equivalent experience gained on the field.
- 3+ years of working experience in an automotive environment on EE-Systems / Components design & development
- Knowledge of various automotive related interfaces/networks: CAN, CAN-FD, Flexray,Automotive Ethernet, …
- Knowledge of key development tools like CANOe, ETAS Inca, etc.
- Experienced background in European automotive OEM & supplier industries
- High Voltage system experience preferred.
- Knowledge of different Automotive sub systems preferred including Powertrain, Security & Body Electronics, Safety & Active Safety, Driver Controls & Interaction, Infotainment
- Ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues as they arise
- Excellent communication skills and ability to report at senior management level.
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to work in an international environment
