Casteel Wrestling is searching for the next leader of our Wrestling program. The Colts have established themselves as one of the top 2 or 3 programs in the state of Arizona and competes on the national level throughout the off season. After only 7 years since opening (2016-2023), and alongside hundreds of academic recognitions, the Colts have amassed, 5 section championship and 2 state championships.
As for the women’s program- they have finished in the top 4 in every year since inception.
The Junior High program which resides on the Casteel campus has won 6 of the 7 East valley championships and has a dual record of 111-1 in 7 years.
The program is on a trajectory to the top of the national picture with all the pieces in place. We are looking for someone to:
- Maintain a program vision with high expectations.
- Possess superior organizational skills.
- Effectively lead a premier coaching staff.
- Communicate at a high level to all stakeholders.
- Maintain high expectation on campus and in the classroom.
- Maintain a state and national presence in the off season. Building off the expectation of being a nationally recognize program that vies for a state and national recognition year in and year out.
- Further develop and foster the Junior high program as the team’s primary feeder.
Position could carry a teaching contract for the qualified candidate.
High school or collegiate wrestling experience required.
