Principal Accountabilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end Value Bath Value Stream: to commercialize growth and innovation, integrated margin management (F2G & design to value), integrated business sourcing, integrated supply chain management.
  • Serve as the primary supply chain point of contact for the enterprise Value Bath platform commercial leader, RD&E leader and support the visibility and adoption of scalable regional platform initiatives.
  • Lead as the Global Supply Chain enterprise business, commercial and RD&E strategic interface for innovation, growth and integrated margin management in the Value Bath platform value stream.
  • Lead Global Manufacturing performance management strategies and governance to global benchmark levels for productivity and waste on the enterprise-wide Value Bath asset base.
  • Maintain and provide governance management infrastructure for enterprise manufacturing excellence and asset strategy standards.
  • Function as the primary strategic thought leader for the pursuit of manufacturing excellence in the global manufacturing platform footprint SBP cross sourcing strategies.
  • Drive the adoption in enterprise supply chain value innovation and “factory of the future” initiatives regionally with value reflected in IMM and F2G program management.
  • Provided functional leadership and enterprise value in the areas of safety, quality, productivity and service, reducing the overall cost to serve.
  • Lead and own the enterprise Manufacturing capabilities: Operations Systems and Standards: Operational Excellence & Lean Six Sigma; Global Asset Reliability; the Global P-2020 Best Practice system; Mill Foundational System Digitalization standards and Platform Technical Networks to transfer knowledge and problem solve high priority asset performance.
  • Support the Kimberly-Clark Supply Chain Capital Planning process for the global enterprise Bath platform and develop the operating framework in collaboration with the Supply Chain CFO and Family Care Platform Value Stream Senior Director.
  • Manage enterprise capital planning and expenditures across the portfolio
  • Review, approval, and ongoing management of capital expenditure budgets for the enterprise portfolio, with a focus on increasing capability in supply chain manufacturing to meet our growth ambitions, deliver reductions in the cost of manufacture and maximize cash flows
  • Lead the strategic use of External Contract Manufacturing supporting the Make vs. Buy analysis, using advance analytics to support growth and reduce premature internal capital investment.
  • Track and manage deployment of annual budgets, including intra-year reallocation and trade-outs as necessary
  • Lead/oversee and support regional project teams on major capital projects associated with existing assets
  • Identifying, championing, and sourcing strategic projects within the portfolio, including but not limited to: Conversion of underutilized unit capacity to alternative product types and levels of care
  • Review/develop underwriting proformas for product conversions, new development, and other significant capital improvements
  • Prepare project status tracking updates and performance reports for internal reporting
  • Work with internal and external asset managers, as well as property operators to continually assess where each property sits in its competitive market area and determine logical long-term strategy for each.
  • Deliver scope of projects on-time with the best cost model.
  • Develop and retain innovative technical machining and machine integration techniques and capabilities that provide a competitive advantage to KC
  • Provide technical support for critical problem solving in asset performance as well as knowledge transfer and digitization of technical solutions.
  • Support the Manufacturing Capabilities Program Leader with resources in the design and development of the manufacturing digital academies as a primary accountability.

Qualifications/Education/Experience:

  • This position requires a bachelor degree, an advanced degree is preferred in business, supply chain, engineering, finance, accounting, operations, economics, or strategy with equivalent experience.
  • 7 plus years of work experience covering a variety of different fields and K-C business areas.
  • Preferably 3 plus of Manufacturing mill experience and staff level leadership at the manager or senior manager level.
  • Experience in other functional areas is desirable, but not required, along with at least two previous management/ team leadership experiences.
