Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time UX Designer opportunity available based in Doral, FL, with an opportunity to travel to locations in the US Southern Command. Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD Secret security clearance.

ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES

Seeking a user experience designer to join design team. Primary role will be to research and design usable interfaces, perform usability testing, and create prototypes to validate design concepts. The ideal candidate will use this information to help us create the best user experience possible for our website and mobile applications.

• Leverage design process to deliver an easy-to-use user interface and user experience.
• Research other products to ensure that we are current.
• Work with stakeholders to identify requirements.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups.
• Develop and implement usability testing.
• Design for accessibility standards.
• Create and maintain usability documentation.
• Work with developers to ensure product quality.
• Work closely with product managers to create marketing documents.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS Degree (relevant experience can be considered in lieu of degree).
• IAT Level II Compliant Certification. (i.e. Security+, SSCP etc).

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS

Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to travel up to 10%, both CONUS and OCONUS. OCONUS locations include:
  • US Southern Command
• In some occasions, overnight travel may be required.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements. If this position requires OCONUS travel (listed above), Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil lists out applicable current vaccination requirements by location.

• Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.
• Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
• May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
