Position Summary
This role is analytic and creative. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, creative and versatile individual with experience designing intuitive workflows. The candidate will have deep experience with interaction design, is fluent in web and mobile information architecture, and can translate functional objectives into detailed specifications. The candidate carries a thorough understanding of end users, a passion for user-centered design, and a critical eye toward clear visuals and text. The UX Architect must analyze and interpret consumer behavior related to an interactive digital experience. The User Experience Architect's job is to responsibly test the architecture of a digital site, taking it from concept to launch. Conceptualizing, designing and testing website interactions are key to this job description. The UX Architect is a creative problem solver. Understanding how a site views across multiple digital devices is key. They must be an organized yet creative thinker with a good sense of the overall goal of a web site and then able to develop the road map to achieving it. Computer programming must be second nature to the UX Architect.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing consumer usability
- Developing information architecture
- Creating an interaction design
- Building design interfaces
- The UX Architect must have software proficiency that spans programs including the following:
- Mobile Apps
- HTML
- CSS
- React JS
- Gather and document functional requirements for upcoming web and mobile releases
- Analyze business needs and produce detailed wireframes that meet strategic objectives
- Optimize information architecture to promote usability, while accommodating technical
- needs/constraints
- Develop user flows and personas to facilitate feature design process
- Lead cross-functional design sessions between all Andor Health teams
- Oversee all user-facing text to synthesize tone, language, and messaging
- Prioritize roadmap features and product enhancement requests, specifically around UX
- Create and maintain appropriate documentation
- Effectively support all departments
- Provide fast and value-added services to the development organization
- Pro-actively seek and acquire technical training, vocational training and market and product awareness such that skills remain current, relevant and valued within Andor Health
- Accurately estimate effort for self and coordinate schedules
Qualifications
Academic and professional qualifications
- Successful completion of a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or relevant UX related experience
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, UX Design, or a related field
- Experience in a fast-paced software environment, and an ability to execute against aggressive
timelines
- Experience designing web and mobile solutions for enterprise platforms
- Advanced knowledge of wireframing and/or prototyping tools and methodologies
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- High energy level, enthusiastic, and eager to do what is necessary to be successful
- Highly creative and inquisitive; able to multitask effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Health care industry experience a plus
