ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST

St. Catherine of Siena Hospital is a proud member of Catholic Health and has served the residents of the Smithtown area for more than 50 years. St. Catherine's is located on the north shore of Long Island in Smithtown. The campus is comprised of a 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital; a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; and a 60,000 square foot medical office building. Under the general direction of a radiologist, operates all ultrasound equipment in order to produce diagnostic images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies according to established procedures. General exams, US Color Flow Doppler Echo, TEE and Vascular.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Completion of a program in ultrasound from an accredited Ultrasound School. 5 years experience in performing ultrasound procedures acceptable. Must be RDMS registered or registry eligible.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Position requires the ability to work with all ultrasound equipment, computers, processors, chemicals and other medical equipment and communication devices.
