While beauty is our heart, our people are our soul.Longwood Gardens is seeking a seasonal Turfgrass Technician to support our Grounds team. This individual will assist with the maintenance of all turfgrass areas in the gardens along with mowing, edging, sodding, seeding, aeration, and leaf removal. This individual must be able to perform a full range of groundskeeping and horticultural duties, including mulching, planting, and watering as needed.
The successful candidate will be effective in working as part of a team as well as independently. They will be comfortable with working in all weather conditions, have the ability to lift at least 50 pounds, sit, stand, walk for long periods of time, and carry items as needed to complete assigned tasks. Prior groundskeeping and horticulture experience preferred. A valid driver's license is required.
