Silverado’s Orange County Communities are looking for a Floating Caregiver / CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to travel locally between our 4 communities! These locations will include Brea, San Juan Capistrano, Tustin and Newport Mesa. This is a full-time or part time position with a set PM or NOC shift schedule.

This position is responsible for covering caregiver vacations, leaves, vacancies, and/or call-ins.

Position Pay: $22-$24/hr.

This position will include a monthly travel stipend of $250 for travel between communities.

The non-negotiables:

  • CNA Training Completion
  • Valid CNA certificate number
  • Personal or professional experience as a caregiver or caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or another debilitating illness preferred

What you will be doing:

  • Traveling between 4 Silverado Communities providing coverage and support where needed.
  • Providing compassionate care and assistance to residents living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or another memory impairment
  • Assisting residents in activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, dining, etc.)
  • Building meaningful relationships with residents, families, and your Silverado team
  • May also include keeping proper care records and reporting any changes to nursing team
