Job description

In line with business strategy, the Transportation Specialist manages transport allocations, daily activities, handling of the emergencies (in case of transport disruptions) and provides functional analysis for system enhancements.

• Bachelor’s degree of tourism, experience within transport reservations & ticketing;
• Excellent knowledge German and English (oral and written);
• Excellent knowledge of Amadeus and good knowledge of MS Office;
• Self-dependent way of working, strong team orientation and effective time management;
• Dynamic and service-oriented work ethic with strong sense of priority;
• Manages the entire reservation process for bus, flights and train transfers on internal and external platforms;
• Booking of train tickets based on customer demands, ticket and invoice handling;
• Release management of travel products based on contractual terms;
• Support operational management on ad-hoc requests helping guests on special requests on transport services;
• Close collaboration with the flight department at HQ Geneva and the office in Naples as well as sales teams in Vienna, Salzburg and Zurich;
