Schedule
1st Shift
Sunday - Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
(Other hours and days as needed)
Job Summary
- Provide information and services to drivers, distributors and other departments
- Perform office duties such as: data entry, typing, filing, record-keeping and answering the phone
- Perform all other job related tasks as required
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proven ability to work on multiple tasks and complete them satisfactorily
- Ability to deal professionally with customers, drivers, and suppliers
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stay calm in stressful or confrontational situations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Previous data entry experience
- Thorough and attentive to details
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of transportation operations
- Knowledge of shipping procedures
- Previous clerical or administrative experience
- Microsoft Office Word and Excel experience
