Hart’s Ambulette is looking for confident van drivers!!!

SIGN ON BONUS OF $400

We are hiring both full time and part time positions.

Hart’s Ambulette is responsible for providing comfortable, kind, and safe non-emergency medical transportation for individuals in wheelchairs. We safely operate and maintain a fleet of modern wheelchair lift-equipped vans that comply with all Ohio Division of Emergency Medical Services regulations. Our ambulette drivers add meaningful value to our clients’ well-being and in the communities we serve.

Duties include, but are not limited to, non-medical transport of individuals with physical disabilities to and from appointments. Ambulette drivers must frequently maneuver, load and otherwise move clients and/or equipment weighing up to 300 pounds in a non-motorized wheelchair.

Position Requirements

· Safely operate and maintain an ambulette while in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations of the safe operation of the vehicle while transporting patients

• Professionally communicate with our patient clients, facility staff, family members, medical personnel, and the general public
• Complete daily and weekly inspection and inside/outside cleaning of vehicles

Preferred Education & Experience

· Familiarization of geographical area and use of maps or GPS devises

Position Requirements

· Possess a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

· Be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
