We are recruiting a Transition Cost Estimator who sits on the Global Transition Team within GWS. (home-based with some travel)

Job summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position is part of CBRE’s Global Transition Team, and supports the development of budgets across all client transitions, globally. The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-focused, with a strong real estate and financial background.

Key responsibilities

– Analyzes historical and current financial data to understand project trends; implements actions based on findings

– Manages and leads all aspects of RFP and BAFO transition budgets before submission

– Partners with the SMEs and Sector Transition Leaders to develop and consolidate transition budgets

– Enhances cost controls service delivery by increasing efficiency and improving processes

– Establishes and maintains benchmarks for a variety of projects

– Implements cost and financial standards to enhance processes

– Develops financial models that forecast business outcomes

– Prepares financial reports to support the senior leadership team in making strategic business decisions

– Provides effective cost management and control of transition budgets

Supervisory/leadership responsibilities

– Show proactive leadership among the project teams, but does not have direct supervisory responsibilities in this position

– Comfortable with presenting to large groups (virtually and in person) and in interacting with senior client and CBRE leaders

Crucial skills

– Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms, concepts, and principles

– Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex data sets from various sources

– Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).

– Ability to regularly communicate analyzed data to leadership to achieve project goals

– Ability to establish rapport, instills confidence and grows partner relationships

– Self-aware and willing to work in a collaborative and global environment


Qualifications

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

– Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on Accounting, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

Minimum 7 years of experience in Cost Estimating/Management

– Industry experience in Construction Management or Real Estate is preferred

– Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Transition Cost Estimator position is $130,000 and the maximum salary for the Transition Cost Estimator position is $160,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
