We are seeking a Director, Operations Transformation to join our team. This position can be based remotely, preferably near one of Eaton’s major aerospace hubs. Eaton’s comprehensive portfolio of components consistently sets the industry standard for engineering excellence, resulting in superior systems design and integration capability.
Position Overview:
The Director, Operations Transformation will provide leadership and drive the support surrounding all aspects of the Operations Transformation in Aerospace, providing expert advice and coaching across all levels with a specific focus on site/facility leadership. With goal of building and maintaining a best-in-class environment and earning multi-year sustainable High Five Metrics for outstanding performance. As a senior leader in a highly strategic role, you will ensure standardization, deployment, and execution of best practices in safety, quality, delivery, manufacturing, materials management, and continuous improvement. You will have oversite and responsibility for annual manufacturing/operating profits, cost reductions (CONC), inventory management, quality management systems, and continuous improvement on key strategic manufacturing sites.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate operations implementing metrics, process improvements, and organizational changes
- Orchestrate and lead a change management plan
- Leverage relevant tools to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure global transformation teams (across the EMEA and NA region) are in alignment
- Set ambitious world class standards that are measured, monitored, and achievable
- Align transformation team objectives with the overall business objectives to ensure a strategy-focused workforce
- Lead with compliance and hold others accountable for ethical conduct
- Direct and mentor the site leadership team
- Accountable for the day-to-day decisions that directly impact the quality, efficiency, and profitability of the overall plants
- Helps the Plant Manager to maintain a workforce of highly motivated employees
- Develops controls and critically reviews results of operation about planned objectives

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required
- Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in operations and/or supply chain within the manufacturing environment
- Minimum 7 years’ experience leading managers of people and process in a top tier environment
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Position Criteria:
- Experience driving successful transformation initiatives in best-in-class environments
- Knowledge of technology required for successful delivery in a manufacturing environment: EHS, supply chain, quality, and Lean
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Experience leading customer-facing discussions and presenting data/solutions.
- Demonstrated success in a) performance results, b) building high performance teams, c) leading cross-functionally, d) developing and retaining leaders, e) driving organizational change and f) driving zero incident safety culture
