POSITION SUMMARY:
Through innovation Fujifilm Dimatix, the world leading provider of inkjet printheads for commercial and industrial printing, enables high-performance, micro-precision printing and deposition of traditional inks and nano-particulate fluids on many surfaces.

Fujifilm Dimatix is seeking an enthusiastic and thorough person to engage cross-functional teams including representatives from various groups under Operations to help build and administer a more robust training program for its production technicians and trainers.
This essential role will support production technicians, technician trainers, leads, and supervisors to insure training coverage and competency across all production shifts. The Training Coordinator will manage training and certification activities for production technicians throughout the training phases, as well as onboarding of engineers and general staff. Responsibilities will also include auditing and improving the training system; developing and maintaining training records and status reports for supervisors and managers; writing or editing procedural documentation: and keeping the technicians trained to current documentation. This position may also train general concepts to new employees including clean room requirements and product handling.

Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but requires utilizing judgment and decision-making on more advanced assignments and projects.

Normally receives little instructions on daily work and general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a minimum of 3-4 years of related experience or 1-2 with a bachelor’s degree.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish job functions.
- Audit and administer the training system.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and continuously improve the training system.
- Write and present training status reports to management.
- Reviews procedural documentation changes with Engineering and Document Control and ensures training compliance to changes.
- Schedule and conduct onboarding / general training sessions for new employees.
- Certify trainers to TWI training standard.
- Coordinates shift certification activities with certified trainers based on organizational needs and changes.
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate 24x7 shift schedule for in-person training.
- Works closely with Production Supervisors and Leads to help schedule technician activities and provide adequate training and feedback.
- Identify the developmental needs of others and delivers coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping to improve their knowledge or skills.
- Demonstrate work and safety procedures to new employees and helps assign employees to experienced workers (technician trainers) for training.
- Train technicians, leads, and supervisors in techniques and skills for training employees.
- Apply principles and methods for training design, teaching, and instruction for fellow employees, and the measurement of training effects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED :
- High School diploma or GED.
- Commitment to promoting safety and quality within the organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Works independently, collaboratively, and as a team leader where needed.
- Reliable, responsible, dependable, and able to fulfill obligations.
- Maintain a patient and positive attitude.
- Ability to learn various software programs and other company systems.
- Open to change and considerable variety in the workplace.
DESIRED:
- Understands and can explain the material control system, including Nonconforming Material, and product serialization strategies in production.
- Knowledge of various documentation and training formats.
- Good computer skills (familiarity with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access).
- Ability to effectively collect data in both written and electronic formats.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Able to select and use training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Time on the job will be a mix of sitting, walking, and standing.
- Must be able to move around in the clean room / manufacturing floor.
- Must be able to work with microscopes.
- Must be able to listen to verbal instructions and work from written instruction.
- Must be able to lift between 10 and 25 pounds without assistance.
- Position requires ability to work at close vision (20 inches or less) and must have the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This job may require performing job functions in an office environment, a light industrial setting, and a clean room manufacturing environment.
- Clean room environment – must be able to wear full clean room garments, gloves, and safety glasses.
- Moderate noise level (printers, computers, moderate traffic, conversation, etc.).
OTHER:
- Other duties as may be assigned.
