Duties
- Utilize a super user list to identify and develop new trainers in the field.
- Work with Government leadership, Human-Centered Designer and super users to develop train-the-trainer models for Diversion data analyses and tools.
- Create Quick Reference Guides in various mediums
- User test Quick Reference Guides
- Conduct training with trainers
- ONGOING - Incorporate references between Quick Reference Guides
- ONGOING - Maintain a Quick Reference Guide library and all Quick Reference Guides
- Experience in Law Enforcement OR Healthcare and/or Pharmaceutical Industry
- Understanding of data concepts (how to analyze it, manipulate it, and report on it)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness and ability to obtain a position of Public Trust with the US Government
- Advanced experience in drug enforcement, including but not limited to the life cycle of a complex diversion cases
- Ability to assess a healthcare professional's scope and appropriateness of care into a controlled substance investigation
- Advanced knowledge of drug types and scheduling and their relationship to prescribing patterns
- Knowledge of how patient demographics and medical needs translate to controlled substance prescribing
- Knowledge of how laws, regulations, policies, and stakeholders impact each other's operations and the DEA quota system
- Advanced knowledge of factors that impact prescription drug trends in the United States
- Knowledge in methodologies for federal and state diversion criminal, civil, and administrative enforcement cases.
- Advanced knowledge of how the Diversion Control Division's investigative activities intersect with federal, state, and local law enforcement and regulatory agencies and bodies
- Merrifield, VA and/or Springfield, VA, with some possible travel to conduct interviews, user testing, and training
