Looking for individuals to be responsible for upkeep and repair of molds/tooling for plastic injection molding presses.

Shift:

1st Shift Monday-Friday (6:00am-3:00pm)

Additional Skills, Qualifications, and Job Duties:

• Associate Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology is preferred
• Toolmaker / Mold Maker Journeyman certification preferred
• 5+ years experience using hand operated tool room equipment
• Working knowledge of plastic injection molding process, plastics, and tooling is required.
• Skilled in the areas of surface grinding, compound angles, cutting tools, nozzle tips, tapers, hot runner wiring, and open vent cleaning
• Knowledge of Manifold systems Example: Mold Master, Synventive, YUDO, RUNIPSYS, P.E.T.S etc.
• Ability to read and understand 2D and 3D tooling drawings.
• PC and Windows based software experience including Microsoft Office products
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings
• Ability to communicate and work with others effectively
• Ability to work independently and effectively perform with limited supe
