Job description
GENERAL FUNCTION:
Provide health services to students under the guidance of the Manager of Wellness. Implements the Center's Health Services Program and assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Serve as acting in the absence of the Manager of Wellness.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
n Unrestricted state certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state where center is located required.
Experience:
n Three years of experience required.
n Experience in a hospital setting desired.
n Public Health experience acceptable.
Knowledge:
n Effective verbal and written communication skills
n Effective organizational skills
n Effective interpersonal skills
n Classroom instruction and curriculum development
n Ability to interpret data and analyze its use within educational programs
Licenses or Certificates
n Certificate in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation required.
Shuttle is offered to all staff from the MacArthur Bart Station on Martin Luther King Jr. and 40th Street at 7:00am and return shuttle at 4:45pm
