Key Accountabilities/Duties:

• Assesses clients or family’s needs, and eligibility for services.
• Provides individual therapy in accordance with assessed client recovery needs.
• Participates in planning treatment programs, dispositional and discharge plans.
• Maintains family, and all collateral contact, as relevant.
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
• Develops and maintains client case records including assessments, notes, plans, and reports.
• Coordinates, arranges and monitors continuity of care.
• Accepts supervision, and attends regularly scheduled team, or supervision meetings.

Mountain Youth Academy is a trauma-based residential treatment facility located in the rolling hills of Tennessee. Our treatment center is located 13 miles from the Virginia state border. Mountain Youth Academy exclusively treats children and adolescents, both boys and girls ages 5–17. Our trauma treatment offers individual, group and family trauma therapy as well as other treatment methodologies to help youth deal with traumas they have experienced. Requirements:

• Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related Program from an accredited college or University and pursuing licensure in the State of Tennessee. Mountain Youth Academy can provide supervision to MSW and LPC candidates.
• 1-2 years of experience in a residential setting preferred, not required.
