Therapist for a Child and Adolescent Program Great Opportunity for recent Grads!

• Assess, diagnose, and treat children who may have slight or severe mental, emotional or social disorders.
• Will provide immediate care to youth and families in crisis complete risk assessments therapy services, provide intensive mental health services for eligible children and youth who may need hospitalization, or community based mental health care.
• Work with the parents or guardians providing home-based therapy.
• Provide mental health services and supports to help the child stay at home, to be happy and successful in their development and day to day live.
• Conduct individual and family therapy to a caseload of clients in the community.
• Provide crisis intervention services in person or by telephone to adolescents and their families dealing with crisis situations.
• Perform emergency on-site assessments of clients to determine the need for inpatient hospitalization.
• Consult and coordinate with other community agencies and organization such as DCFS, schools, hospitals and other providers.
• Conduct intake interviews.
• Provide case management services.

Must have a Master’s degree in a human service field.

Licensed a plus LPC/LSW/LCPC/LCSW

Locations Waukegan and Chicago area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
