POSITION SUMMARY:
Develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture relationships with potential hires. Also, must create strong talent pipelines for the companies current and future hiring needs. .
PRIMARY DUTIES PERFORMED:
- Search for candidates through various sources, planning, interview and selection procedures, and hosting or participate in careers events.
- Coordinate with hiring manager to identify staffing needs. Determine selection criteria. Organize and/or attend job fairs and recruitment events.
- Work with on-line tracking system to move candidates through the workflow from beginning to onboarding
- Assist with design of job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements.
- Co-facilitate training for managers on the interview, selection and retention process.
- Conduct pre-employment criminal background checks. Complete reference checks to provide managers with the best qualified candidates
- Support and coordinate all retention and recognition programs
- Track and report on all aspects of staffing and employee turnover.
- Performs other human resources duties as assigned.
- Manage the CDL Commercial Driver’s License qualification file program
- Insured all transportation requirements were met pertaining to federal and state motor vehicle regulations,
- Developed and initiated monthly medical physicals
- Timely follow-up on violations, citations, and inspections as a result of internal audits and external issues
- Support the drug and alcohol testing and chain of custody pre-employment/ post-accident/ random and reasonable suspicion protocol
- Required to make field visits for the purpose of audits and inspections.
- Finalized Driver points
- Track DOT inspection annually.
- Keep electronic files by truck with annual inspection
- Maintain records of all road inspections and required documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience
- Proficient computer and document skills.
- Excellent at task management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with recruiting full-cycle, using various techniques and evaluation methods.
- Experience with Paycom a plus.
