Ansell is looking for a customer-focused and passionate Territory Sales Manager based in the South of Germany to join its Healthcare organization.
As a member of the Ansell Germanic team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Ansell’s products and services in order to achieve or exceed targeted sales within the assigned territory utilising the end user and distributor network together to facilitate sales.

What your role will be?
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager Germany, you will:
  • Maximize sales volume and increase market penetration through direct sales within the assigned territory
  • Formulate sales plans and objectives and carry them out within the territory
  • Assess competitors activity and feedback market intelligence to RSM i.e. communicate via PC and network all relevant new information from the territory that might be of interest or help to the Sales and / or Marketing teams
  • Implement specific promotional programs, seminars for hospital customers
  • Select and follow-up on all key accounts within the territory
  • Conduct a continuous key account profile for end-users / opinion leaders from which appropriate market strategies can be developed
  • Plan and manage the assigned territory in an effective manner ensuring:
    • adequate and regular coverage of key accounts and organizations in the region
    • accurate and timely submission of reports
    • right priority setting in order to achieve set targets
    • monitor the Ansell customer base in the assigned territory
  • Monitor market conflict situations to feedback issues to RSM with proposals of market driven solutions to the benefit of the Company and end users as a whole
  • Positively and actively promote the Company’s image at all times and to continuously seek to develop own knowledge and expertise and to achieve the personal development plans set for him/her by RSM
  • Fully participate in annual performance review. Review and
  • implementation of long year target
  • Handle customer complaints / quality issues and provide written feedback on hem according to the Medical Devices Act (« quality Control surveillance »)
  • Carry out other special assignments under the direction of the RSM.
  • Actively participate in meetings and conferences
  • Accountable for the achievement of sales, targets, servicing and promotion via direct and indirect sales within the assigned territory
What will you bring?
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business preferably

  • Minimum 3 years of Hospital Sales experience, preferably in the medical/OR sector but not exclusively
  • Demonstrated selling/channel experience in the hospital sector
  • Demonstrated experience in consultative selling-like methodologies/approaches
  • Knowledge of hospital/ clinical networks
  • Sound analytical skills in gathering data from multiple sources
  • Budget & reporting skills – monitoring, reporting, defining key issues and corrective strategies
  • Negotiation skills
  • Understanding and ability to utilise a CRM system
