Job Title: Telemarketer/Phone Sales Representative
Department: Sales
Reports to: Sales Manager

Job Overview:
Our company is seeking a highly motivated Telemarketer/Phone Sales Representative to join our sales team. The primary responsibility of this position is to screen potential customer targets by making outbound calls and identifying opportunities for our parks and recreation, collegiate, high school, or engineering firm sales teams. The successful candidate will be comfortable spending up to 7 hours a day on the phone and will have excellent communication skills. The Telemarketer/Phone Sales Representative will report directly to the Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Make outbound calls to potential customers and screen them for potential sales opportunities.
2. Pass successful calls onto the correct salesman for either collegiate, high school or engineering firms.
3. Collect and maintain accurate customer data and sales records in our database.
4. Achieve daily and weekly call quotas as set by the Sales Manager.
5. Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs as set by the Sales Manager.
6. Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, pricing, and promotions to ensure effective selling.
7. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while on the phone.
8. Attend regular training and development sessions to improve sales skills and knowledge.
9. Follow all relevant federal and state laws and regulations related to telemarketing and phone sales.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
2. Proven experience as a telemarketer or phone sales representative.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers over the phone.
4. Ability to meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.
5. Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Google Workspace and CRM software.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Familiarity with relevant federal and state laws and regulations related to telemarketing and phone sales.
8. Ability to work up to 6 hours per day on the phone.
9. Physical Requirements:
10. This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time and use a phone and computer for up to 7 hours per day.

Working Conditions:
The Telemarketer/Phone Sales Representative will work in an office environment with a work schedule of Monday to Thursday, from 9 am to 5 pm and Friday 9 am to 12 pm. However, flexibility may be required to meet sales targets and quotas.
