- Previous experience or basic knowledge of desktop computer hardware and software as well as peripheral devices (printers, scanners, projection devices, interactive whiteboards, virtual desktops, etc.) is required
- Strong customer service skills; able to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills
- Ability to relate to a diverse workforce
- Able to lift, carry, or pull up to 40 pounds
- Mobility to move in and around buildings

Essential Job Functions:
Serve as a representative of the Technology Department by providing quality technical support and service to students, staff and the Parkway community. Responsible for providing technology support in the schools for hardware, software, peripherals, and interactive whiteboards. Diagnose basic technology hardware, software and network problems. Assist with school hardware and software upgrades including installation and maintenance of current software releases. Coordinate scheduling and facilitate the use of building technology resources including computer labs, offices and classroom computers. Provide instructional assistance in the use of software programs and primary hardware to students, teachers, support staff and administrators. Perform other duties as assigned.
