Job Summary:
The Enterprise Business Technology Solutions (EBTS) organization is a newly formed organization responsible for building and maturing core capabilities. The Technology Architect is a member of the Enterprise Architecture team that sits in EBTS and responsible for strategic planning and design of technology services, including Hybrid cloud infrastructure. This position is a subject matter expert and thought leader within the organization on cloud infrastructure services. The position works closely with the other Enterprise Architects Business, AppDev teams, IT Engineers, and Solution Architects to delivers technology services and solutions for the customer.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage technology strategies, roadmaps, and architectural artifacts
- Conduct analysis of industry best practices, emerging technology, and market offerings to proactively advance capabilities
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate potential technical risks for projects
- Participate in Architecture Review Board and other technology governance efforts
- Develop technology standards and manage technology lifecycle
- Work across multi-disciplined teams and subject matter experts to ensure a well-integrated set of solutions adhere to enterprise standards.
- Ensures that architectures and designs are appropriately robust and address business, application, data , information and infrastructure architectural requirements
- Sets technology direction and provides oversight for technical decisions within assigned areas of focus
Required
- B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent preferred, or relevant work experience required in lieu of degree.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in technology solutions and delivery, managing professional services, and providing technical leadership to IT teams
- Understanding of key emerging technologies including Cloud, Containers, AI/ML, Big Data, Robotic Process Automation
- Deep experience and knowledge in technical infrastructure and cloud solutions (AWS, Azure)
- Ability to understand IT business requirements and information architecture designs and to convert them into infrastructure solution designs
- Strong consulting and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with various organizations in providing solutions to business problems
Salary Range:
$117,100 - $159,810
This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
