We are currently recruiting for a Full-time, Information Technology, Technology Analyst to support the GP Packaging and Cellulose Division. This role will be a web development subject matter expert specifically working with WordPress and REACT.js. The role will serve as the key technical resource responsible for designing and building all customer facing websites for the Packaging and Cellulose Marketing team. Experience with other technology platforms such as Dynamics and Google Analytics would also be advantageous for this role.

What You Will Do


As a Technology Analyst, your job is to collaborate with the Packaging and Cellulose Marketing department and lead IT in the following ways:

  • Responsible and accountable for delivering best in class browser-based user experiences on multiple websites using Wordpress (current state) and REACT.js (future state).
  • Collaborate with third party design teams to communicate and implement best-in-class design and provide build solutions to bring these designs to life.
  • Be willing to put yourself in the seat of the customer, bringing fresh ideas to the P&C marketing team around best-in-class customer experience on the GP P&C marketing sites such as gpjuno.com and gppackaging.com.
  • Provide guidance on front and back-end architecture design and limitations during requirement planning sessions to ensure new components and templates are being designed within platform boundaries.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to define an Analytics strategy and implement using GA4 platform.
  • Collaborate with backend CRM teams by designing and building webform to CRM workflows from marketing websites into Dynamics.
  • Lead build review sessions with third party agencies and marketing team, talking through new site concept testing and wireframe storyboards.
  • Responsible for review and evaluation of all software and WordPress plugins used by digital assets and implemented by following copyright and software licensing laws.
  • Lead team responsible for setting up and configuring site infrastructure including AWS servers, databases, and certificates.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience of REACT.js development including knowledge of source control platforms (Git, GitHub)
  • Experience with WordPress CMS as a content/data source for front end development
  • Experience building webform to CRM workflows into Dynamics.
  • Experience working with third party teams to build digital marketing websites from scratch, including both front end and back-end architecture
  • Experience using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics or similar analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with setting up and managing AWS infrastructure for customer facing websites.
