Technology Analyst

DarkStar Intelligence is actively seeking a Technology Analyst to provide support to a fast-paced and dynamic education center of a government client in Maryland.

Please note that the availability of this position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Conducts all-source analytic production of future and current leading-edge technologies and their military applications worldwide.
• Projects the discovery, development, and deployment of advanced technologies and their potential impact on U.S. forces worldwide.
• Provides risk assessments on the transfer and diversion of defense and dual-use U.S. technologies and assesses national security implications associated with foreign involvement in critical U.S. defense technology and defense sectors.
• Produces intelligence for the U.S. National, Defense and Acquisition Communities.
• Conducts all-source analysis to identify, exploit, and assess potential threats, transfer, and vulnerabilities to defense supply chains. Experience collaborating with all-source analysts across the DIE or IC.

Requirements

• US government clearance: Current Top Secret/SCI + CI Poly (preferred)
• At least six (6) years of experience as a technology analyst.
• Proficiency in computer-based tools and databases commonly used in the Intelligence Community.
• Experience conducting classified and unclassified research and analysis.
• Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills to prepare and deliver briefings and papers for senior officials.
• Experience working with other DoD and Intelligence Community agencies, and interfacing with customers and/or functional peer group managers and senior leadership.
