Job Title: Technician - Electronic

Job Location: Phoenix AZ 85027

Duration: 06 Contract (can be longer)

Job Description:

** Electronics test technician. Must be familiar with electronics. Some formal education in electronics required. Associates degree in electronics or related field is a plus. Electronics troubleshooting, testing and solder experience is a plus.

* Should have at least 2 years of experience

Constructs, maintains, and tests electrical systems and components. Uses measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify electronic parts. Ensures systems and components meet established specifications. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. May require 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

This will be a FAA technician who will test radar sub-assembly units for eventual use in a radar package end item.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
