DeNOVO Solutions, LLC is seeking a Technical Writer Level 3, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of technical documentation for our organization. One of your primary responsibilities will be to prepare, review, revise, and maintain a wide range of technical documents, including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. You will work closely with technical personnel to create clear and concise documentation for all hardware and software used within the project, including installation, configuration, and how-to guides. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating code documentation for software, implementation guides, end-user guides, and data definition and data flow documentation. By leveraging your strong technical writing skills and consulting with available resources, you will produce technical publications that are easy to understand and follow, ensuring that our organization's technical documentation meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy. By leveraging your strong technical writing skills and consulting with available resources, you will produce technical publications that are easy to understand and follow, ensuring that our organization's technical documentation meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Some other functions of this role include (but not limited to):
- Assist in preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications
- Understand basic concepts (to include basic grammar concepts), responsible for writing technical copy for various types of documents
- Gather technical information, prepares written text
- Maintain a current internal documentation library
- Use multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio etc.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Eight (8) years of experience as a TW in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and
complexity is required. - Prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications
- Work with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials
- Work on all phases of documentation
- Prepare reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Jira and Confluence experience preferred
Required Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. A Master’s degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to six (6) years of experience. Four (4) years of additional TW experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Required Clearance:
- This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a Full-Scope Polygraph
