We provide multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity & access, workforce security, remote access, and much more solutions. As our technical writer, you will be instrumental in creating content and documentation that effectively communicates our value proposition for both technical and non-technical audiences. You’ll work closely with our experts across Software Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and more– ensuring that AuthX products are easy to comprehend by those that interact with it: both at AuthX and beyond.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for editing, proofreading, and writing non-technical and/or technical documents such as manuals, procedures, and specifications.
- Ensure documents meet editorial specifications and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style.
- Simplify complex technical material by breaking it down into understandable steps that can be followed by the end-user to achieve the intended results.
- Conduct in-depth research of products, procedures, or other material to be documented.
- Manage content requirements–production and content needs across teams.
- Gain a deep understanding of AuthX products and their applications to capture product information into simple, accurate, and concise documentation intended for a global audience.
- Research and gather technical information and study target audiences.
- Test whether users understand newly developed material.
- Collaborate with engineers, developers, and other specialists to ensure that they understand the subject.
- Maintain and update technical documentation repository as well as document content updates for products, apps, and related tools.
- Update and maintain a library of technical terminology and documentation.
- Refine and polish in-house generated specs and generate accurate documentation for customer-facing formal deliveries.
- Ensure documentation is of high quality and technically and mechanically accurate, and consistent with regard to clarity, flow, organization, completeness, and readability.
- Define the voice, tone, and standards for our company as represented across documentation, tutorials, and knowledge base.
- Maintain the taxonomy, information architecture, and content mapping schemas used for structuring and filtering content in the knowledge base.
- Provide ongoing qualitative and quantitative measurements of content scope, effectiveness, and usage, especially for user search metrics.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to monitor updates for changes and deprecations, ensuring all documentation is up to date for all end users.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the industry.
Required Experience/Skills
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar profile.
- Experienced technical writer on relevant intelligence areas such as software development, software engineering, or cybersecurity.
- Skilled in Process mapping, analysis and improvement, and documentation.
- The ability to synthesize complex processes into simple and engaging language.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent proficiency in English language, grammar, and punctuation skills
- Excellent written organizational skills: detail-oriented, dedicated to accuracy, expert-level abilities in formatting, and creating styles for documents and forms.
- Ability to present complex information in simple and clear text styles for multiple audiences.
- Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Expertise in prioritization, multi-tasking, and time-management.
- Ability to rely on professional discretion to achieve goals.
- Experience in the customer solutions industry or in a role with a very strong customer focus.
- Experience working in an organization with a global customer base.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
