Location: Berlin, Office based

Based in our Berlin office the Project Manager is accountable for the overall success of assigned programs, from development to implementation of the go-to-market commercial strategy. You will oversee large multi-product, complex, technically challenging programs through effective and transparent collaboration with the global project teams during all phases of product development and commercialization processes.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Support New Program Development/Introductions (NPD/I) and other business critical and/or revenue generating efforts from charter through to commercialization into the marketplace
  • Read and review of internal and external change notifications and convene the assessment panel, close communication and coordination with R&D and Quality
  • Manage and update of change notifications with regard to communication with the notified body
  • Assist in the initiation, execution, and completion of change projects
  • Organize status meetings (subdivision into low, mid and high priority projects) query current status, assist in meeting timelines
  • Interface during integration, responsibility for the execution of integration projects, target discussion in close consultation with R&D and Quality
  • Managing large and multi-product, complex, technically challenging product development programs consisting of a cross-functional teams
  • Present updates at Leadership Team and Global Franchise Team reviews, including business results, program updates and risks.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in scientific or business discipline, Masters degree is desirable
  • Significant experience leading R&D projects in a Medical Device environment
  • Fluent English and German language
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with proven experience in an international environment
  • Experience/knowledge of medical device development cycles, NPI and ISO and FDA quality systems regulations
  • Experience managing Change Projects
