Progressive, tech savvy Charlotte North Carolina area firm (located in Concord, NC) seeks an experienced Tax Preparer to be part our tax team and ensure ongoing client service excellence. Our tax clients are successful small business owners who look to us for year-round guidance.

We strive to not be your typical accounting firm. Our unique business model ensures our team has a flexible work schedule and do not work in a high-pressure environment. While this is an in-house position, we offer the opportunity for some remote work. Responsibilities and preferred requirements of this position include:

· Required: CPA, CPA candidate, or Enrolled Agent

· Experience with preparation of business returns. Especially S-Corporation returns!

· Must have experience with year-end closing of trial balances

· Preparation and review of individual returns

· Tax Planning for clients

· Ability to effectively communicate (both verbal and written) with clients

· Experience with Thomson Reuters products (especially UltraTax) preferred

Salary commensurate with experience. We also provide benefits including health insurance and a retirement plan.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
