Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida provides programs and services for children and families. Based in Orlando, FL, with a coverage area of Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties, this position with the Dually Served Youth and Family Program is responsible for:
- providing therapy to children and families who are involved in both the DCF and DJJ systems.
- providing intensive services in homes and community settings, assessing clients, and formulating individualized and multidisciplinary treatment plans.
- consulting with and training parents on therapeutic interventions and behavioral programs.
- working with treatment team members and therapist, and on-call telephone support for crisis and emergency situations within the program’s foster homes on a rotating basis.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Criminology, Juvenile Justice, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Special Education, Education, Human Development, Child Development, Family Development, Marriage and Family Therapy, and/or Nursing required
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field preferred
- Must be Certified in Child Behavioral Health Case Management (CBHCM) required
Experience:
- 1 year of experience working in child welfare required
Schedule:
- Must be able to complete a Three-Day new hire orientation clarss; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day. Orientations are offered in Orlando, FL

- Valid Florida Driver's License
