Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Your duties will include carrying out system, assembly and board testing for complex radiation therapy devices and documenting the results
- During testing you will identify deviations/malfunctions which arise (e.g. tolerance deviations, failure, wrong parts, characteristics, leakage) and rectify them (e.g. by replacing parts, readjusting). You will document the rectification measures taken
- You will comply with safe working practices and guidelines and, where applicable, you will notify the parties responsible of any dangers observed
- You will help to meet the required delivery timescales for components, boards and/or systems
- You will communicate any problems which arise to the management team
- You will also be involved in your team's continuous improvement process (CIP)

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have completed vocational training as a mechatronics engineer or in a comparable discipline with a focus on electronics
- You can demonstrate several years of professional experience in testing medical systems or a similar environment
- Ideally, you have already gained experience with radiation therapy devices
- You are familiar with MS Office and SAP. You also have a basic knowledge of an MES system
Your attributes and skills:
- You are able to communicate seamlessly (verbally and in writing) in your German-speaking team. You also have a basic knowledge of English
- You are willing to take on shift work in the long term
- During the induction phase you are willing to travel to our partner factories in the UK and China
- You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills and a structured, independent way of working
- You make no compromises when it comes to quality: A high standard of quality in your work is second nature to you
- You are problem/solution-oriented and make decisions independently within your competence framework
