Our busy Periodontics office is looking to expand its team and is seeking a Full-time dental surgical assistant. If you are a friendly, team oriented, energetic individual, we would love for you to be part of our magnificent team!

Job duties include:

• Assisting surgeon with procedures including, but not limited to, extractions, implants, periodontal surgeries, and biopsies.
• Preparing instruments, medications, equipment for procedures.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, preparing surgical tray set ups.
• Assisting surgeon with monitoring patients under sedation.
• Taking the patients vital signs and any necessary diagnostic x-rays.
• Take and process dental x-rays.
• Ensure treatment rooms are appropriately equipped and stocked with inventory.
• Provide the patient with post-operative instructions.
• Maintain a professional working environment within our office team.
• Understand and abide by HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality.
• Candidates must have a high school education with post-high school courses in a dental-related arena. Certification in dental assisting (CDA) or a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification is preferred, but not required.
• Must have at least one year dental assisting experience.

Schedule is:

• Mondays & Thursdays: 8am - 5pm (Plymouth Location)
• Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 8am - 5pm (Livonia Location)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
