Vistar Eye Center is looking for dynamic individuals to grow with the company!
Responsibilities include working with patients to assist the clinics in preparing paperwork, gaining any medical clearances, and scheduling surgeries and procedures with various hospitals.

Requirements:
In this position you must enjoy working with people and have the ability to prepare patients for surgery including the necessary paperwork, scheduling preoperative testing, laboratory orders, instructions, and preoperative consultations. This position may verify insurance to determine pre-certification and second opinion requirements, call insurance companies when needed and verify pertinent information in the patient’s medical chart.

Experience:
- Minimum one-year medical office, working with insurance
- Prior surgery scheduling experience preferred
