The Boeing Company is looking for a Mid-Level Support Planning & Management Specialist to join our team at the Naval Air Weapons Station located in China Lake, CA.

This position is primarily for 1st shift; however, various shifts, nights, weekends and alternate shifts may be required to meet program objectives.

Some travel will be required up to 10% of the time.

Position Responsibilities

• Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems referring to established precedents and policies

• Receives general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives

• Participates in determining objectives of assignment; plans, schedules, and arranges own activities to accomplish those objectives

• Understands and applies job practices, techniques, standards, principles, and concepts

• Implements elements of support program activities to include support system analysis, spares, and provisioning, technical data, training maintenance/modifications, support equipment and facilities

• Develops support program plans and schedules, validates standard deliverables and supports trade studies for platform subsystems

• Researches, documents and provides technical information and supports the establishment of processes to develop and maintain support products, engineering data and integrated support infrastructure

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience working across multi-disciplined teams to investigate, design and develop solutions to complex problems

• Experience with F/A-18 aircraft mechanical maintenance operations, testing, repairs and/or replacements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• An active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, preferred; but not required.

• Experience with the F/A-18 E, F, & G and Flight test operations.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $93,500 – $126,500
