Job description
The Support Services Manager will work with the Branch Manager and Account Managers to perform critical landscaping functions that support our valued landscape maintenance customers which include:
This position will be responsible for ensuring that our seasonal color rotations go smoothly throughout the entire process. The Support Services Manager will:
- Work with account managers and customers to create bed designs and layouts
- Create and send out seasonal color proposals
- Lead purchasing and procurement for all materials necessary for the installations
- Create schedules and be hands-on with the crew(s) to ensure on-time and on-budget installation completion
- Perform seasonal color bed maintenance between rotations.
In addition to leading the seasonal color installation and maintenance, the Support Services Manager will play an intricate role in leading our enhancements department. The Support Services Manager will:
- Work with Account Managers and assist in the sales and proposal process of enhancement/landscape installation projects
- Schedule and track projects from customer approval to post-completion walkthrough
- Create schedules and ensure crews are equipped to efficiently complete jobs
- procure all materials necessary
- Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and/or skillsets:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience with designing seasonal color
- Hands-on experience installing seasonal color beds, pots, and baskets.
- Knowledge and experience with maintaining seasonal color installations including irrigation, herbicide, and pesticide applications
- Experience in small to medium-sized landscape installation projects
- Experience operating a skid steer or bobcat and other small heavy equipment implements
- Experience with the installation of turf, plants, and shrubs and light hardscaping elements such as pavers
- Excellent communication skills
- Have the drive to deliver above-and-beyond service, quality, and value.
Job requirements:
- 3+ years in the professional landscaping industry
- A valid driver's license and clean driving history
- Experience working with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
