As a Supply Specialist, support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Center for Preparedness and Response (CPR), Division of Emergency Operations (DEO), Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in the management and coordination of equipment supplies during the ongoing COVID-19 response.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, acknowledge, coordinate and provide supplies and/or equipment requests to deploying or deployed staff.
• Update equipment inventory records to reflect issue or return of equipment.
• Keep Team Lead apprised of issues with requests and recommend solutions.
• Prepare reports as needed by Team Lead or Branch Chief.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree required
• 1 year of experience in logistics, warehouse, supply chain or other support environment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required
• Eligible for public trust security clearance

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior experience in supply chain management or emergency response preferred
• Basic understanding of the National Response Framework (ESF #8) and National Incident Management System (NIMS) preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding information accessed or discussed while performing the duties of the position
