ssential Functions and Objectives:

Supports individuals, teams and/or departments through facilitating and regulating a series of activities and work streams. Carries out specific tasks based on established procedures, to ensure a broader set of priorities and objectives are met. Primary focus on execution of assigned tasks in a specific area of responsibility, with a non-technical scope
and a high degree of customer service.

L
eads teams of math fellows who provide highly structured, small group instruction for students as part of the regular school day. Delivers professional development, conducts observations and provides feedback and weekly data meetings in the development of teams of fellows. Develops high performing teams of fellows who improve student
outcomes in math with the goal of closing opportunity gap.

  • Provides instructional coaching and development for math fellows; supports and evaluates the professional experiences of fellows for the improvement of student growth and achievement; and creates a culture of high academic expectations for all students.
  • Creates a high achieving culture connected to program and District mission, vision, and values; provides solutions for daily management issues; recognizes math fellows on a regular basis; and regularly collaborates with the core classroom teachers and school administration.
  • Supports fellows in the use of data to drive instruction and plan rigorous lessons, using multiple data points to identify strengths and areas for growth at particular school sites to facilitate change as needed.

K
nowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:

  • One (1) year experience of management responsibility.
  • Three (3) years of experience with background as a classroom teacher and demonstrated ability to coach and develop teams of adults is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effectively handles multiple demands and competing deadlines.
  • The ability to take responsibility for one’s own performance.
  • Works collaboratively with others on a team as well as classroom teachers and school staff.
  • High degree of integrity in handling confidential information.
