Small boutique style Home Health Care Agency located in Spring Valley, NY is looking to hire a dynamic professional to join our team as a Staffing Coordinator.

Must be able to speak, write and read fluently in English & Creole. Needed Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 5:00PM. If you are unable to successfully manage a caseload on your own, please do not apply. You must be able to manage 65 - 75 clients.

Prior experience as a Supervising Coordinator or Service Coordinator is required! You must have experience working as Coordinator for a Home Care Agency to be considered.

Must have proven ability to supervise field employees, manage client schedules and calendars, make immediate updates/ changes to client calendars when needed, maintain communication with MLTC Case Managers to obtain service authorizations before auths expire or no later than 2 days if an auth expires.

Must be able to communicate, speak, read and write professionally in English. Haitian Creole is required. Must be professional, polite, and assertive.

We are looking for a candidate that has a proven track record of being to multi-task, be a team player, and able to meet deadlines.

This is a small, but fast paced environment. You must be level headed and able to stay focused to ensure the highest level of customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must be able to professionally place and receive many calls throughout the day and resolve problems immediately
  • Manage home care services for a small caseload of clients on a daily basis by reviewing service schedules on our staffing software; updating schedules and service hours as needed
  • Call Home Health Aides to offer open assignments to ensure all clients have an HHA scheduled to provide care for the day/ week/ month
  • Maintain communication with all clients to identify any concerns or complaints; addressing concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Completing Daily Attendance by monitoring dashboard for any missed punches and calling client's homes to confirm assigned Home Health Aides arrived to their assignments for the day
  • Maintain professional relationships with all Home Health Aides to identify aides available to work and able to cover open assignments
  • Document any changes in client conditions, schedules, or services
  • Communicate changes in client conditions, schedules or services with agency nurse and Case Managers
  • Assist in staffing difficult to staff cases
  • Staff cases last minute if any home health aide calls out for their shift
  • Must be able to effectively utilize available aides to cover assignments including weekend shifts

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Must be able to answer many incoming calls throughout the day
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally when speaking on the phone to clients, case managers, and home health aides
  • Must be computer and tech savvy
  • Must be extremely organized
  • Must be a team player, personable, and able to work well under pressure
  • Must be self-driven and capable to finding effective solutions that will help retain our clients and provide excellent customer service
  • Must be able to work Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
