Job Description

The superintendent will manage day-to-day onsite activities for various types of commercial construction projects including repairs, remodels, rebuilds, and new construction. This is a full time position. The candidate may be required to travel out of town, work in town, work nights, work days and/or as the specific project requires. When travel out of town is required, the superintendent will be paid per diem. Most travel will be within Texas.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience to include, but not limited to, competency in the following areas:

• Oversee total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives as well as coordinating assigned work with subcontractors.

• Using a laptop computer with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Internet based applications, and a smartphone to communicate with all levels of project management, vendors, and sub-contractors on an as required basis.

• Creating and maintaining daily reports with pictures for client and project manager reference.

• Providing project supervision of quality standards and implement the QA/QC Program to ensure READY delivers the highest quality standards to our clients.

• Reading and interpreting plans to insure all aspects of the plans and specifications are achieved.

• Managing Safety Procedures according to Ready Construction Services LLC. guidelines.

• Able to unload and account for all jobsite deliveries as required for each specific project.
