We are looking for a few energetic and outstanding elementary experienced teachers for our unique and academic based after school program in Duluth, Gwinnett County.

We are an academic based after school program for preK4 ~ Grade 5.

Candidates must love working with children and be able to teach basic elementary school subjects along our curriculum plans. Our kids come to have classroom setting lessons for basic, core subjects three times a week and summer camp.

** Basic subjects: Reading/ELA, Math, Social Studies, Science, Writing @ elementary level

Location: Duluth, GA, 30097, so please CONSIDER your drive.

Class size : 6 students/class

Summer Camp class size : 8 students/class

Available Positions: Please clearly state your applying position(s) when you apply.

1. Grade 1 ~ Grade 5 Summer School Teacher (1 position left)

  • Starting May 30 ~ July 29 (7/4~7/8 Vacation)
  • 9:00 am ~ 3:00pm (Lunch is provided)
  • If you apply for summer camp, please clearly state the position as Summer Camp.

2. Middle School ELA/MATH/PSAT/etc - After School Instructor- TTH 5:30 - 8:00

  • Able to teach Middle and Higher grades Reading, Math, Grammar/Writing, etc in a classroom setting.
  • Starting in August

3. Saturday Language School at Elementary/Middle Grades

  • Korean Teacher
  • Spanish Teacher
  • Every Saturday 10am ~ 3pm (Lunch will be provided)
  • Starting in August

Job Type: Part-Time (after school) / full-time (summer camp)

Pay: (after school Lead Teacher) $20/hour ~ $30/hour,

(after school Assistant Teacher) $10/hour ~ $15/hour,

(summer camp) starting from $2300 ~ $2500 / 4 weeks (Lunch is provided)

Responsibilities/Expectations

1. Giving and grading homework.

2. Be prepared and responsible for assigned classes and lessons.

3. Working with students one-on-one when they need extra help

3. Discussing and working with the team and supervisors about students' progress, behaviors, curriculum plans, and etc.

4. Sufficient content knowledge on basic subjects at elementary levels.

5. Reliable, dependable, and effectively communicate with students and staffs.

6. Excellent organization and time management skills.

7. Able to apply various teaching strategies and student management skills.

8. Patience for working with students of all ages and backgrounds.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

License/Certification:
