Position: Camp Counselor
Reports to: Camp Co-Directors
Seasonal: June - July 2023

Welsh Hills School is seeking applicants to join our summer camp program as full-time camp counselors for the summer of 2023.

Welsh Hills Summer Camp is a hands-on, experiential day camp program serving children from three years old through grade six.

Responsibilities:

● Demonstrate and model equity, respect, inclusivity, and cultural awareness.
● Maintain health and safety protocols.
● Plan and lead creative activities according to guidelines.
● Facilitate teamwork.
● Communicate effectively with campers, coworkers, and parents/guardians.
● Work to nurture and maintain a culture that embraces kindness and respect.
● Collaborate actively with other staff in activity preparation and scheduling.
● Supervise campers throughout the day in multiple settings.
● Contribute positively to the overall camp community.
● Represent the program in a professional manner in all settings and circumstances.
● Maintain confidentiality of program and camper information.

Position Requirements
Applicants must be open-minded, excellent communicators, and willing to collaborate with fellow counselors.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years of age.
