Camp Pagonki, in Londonderry, NH, is seeking Counselors for the summer 2023 season at its 3 locations in Londonderry, Derry & Windham NH! Our camp serves youth ages 5-13 while coaching campers to build relationships, try new things, make memories, and ensure camper safety all while having fun and acting as positive role models. We strive to build supportive and empowering teams to help all team members show up as their best and most authentic selves, so that you can learn, grow and thrive during your time at the Y.

Counselors will be assigned to a unit/group of same-age campers that best fits their preferences and the needs of the camp. They will work with fellow counselors to manage campers and program areas, and facilitate valuable peer to peer connections.

Responsibilities:

-Build positive nurturing relationships with campers

-Build cooperative relationships with coworkers, supervisors and families

-Lead and participate in a variety of camp activities such as arts & crafts, STEM, active games and more!

-Engage with campers in a way that fosters character building

-Uphold the YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility

Qualifications:

-Must currently hold or be willing and able to obtain CPR & First Aid Certifications (we will train you)

-Must be available to attend camp trainings before and during camp season

-Able to bring a patient, caring, responsible, flexible and positive attitude to work

Position Specifics:

-Camp season runs 06/21/23 through 08/25/23 and you must be able to work a majority of the camp weeks

-Pay range $12-$14 depending upon experience
